If there's anything we love more than beer and fitness, it's supporting women in business. That's one of the reasons we're so excited to feature a beer of the week from Bold Missy Brewerythe first all female-owned brewery in Charlotte--and to support the Girl Scouts Hornets' Nest and their upcoming event, the 3rd Annual Cookies & Crafts Festival at The Fillmore Charlotte next Sunday March 25!

Read on to learn more about this upcoming festival featuring Girl Scout cookies and local craft beers... including our beer of the week, "On My Honor" from Bold Missy Brewery.

The Beer: "On My Honor"

As the Girl Scouts promise goes, "On my honor, I will try" ...not to drink too many pints of this Girl Scout cookie-inspired brew in one sitting. But that'll be tough, since this deep copper ale was brewed with toasted coconut and cocoa nibs to taste like you're biting into a delicious Samoa! This brew, named for Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Lowe, also features strong notes of caramel and biscuit. You'll be able to try it on Sunday 3/25 at the 3rd Annual Cookies & Crafts Festival, or in the Bold Missy Brewery taproom the following Tuesday 3/27.
