Just 25 minutes from Uptown Charlotte and minutes from Concord Mills Mall, you'll find Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Company. You may already know of some of the brewery's popular beers like Corban Avenue Honey Blonde or 26 Union Street Oatmeal Stout. What you may not know is that this high-performance brewing facility was named after the original 26-acre plot on which the town of Concord, NC was founded in 1796.

Whatever you do or don't know about Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Co., we can tell you this: you've gotta try Unicorn Milk.

Read on to learn more about Unicorn Milk, Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Co. itself, and the fitness events they have to offer active, beer-loving Charlotteans.

The Beer: "Unicorn Milk"

If you're looking for a beer so unique that it's almost mythical, look no further than Unicorn Milk. Technically it's a cream ale, but the folks at Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Co. add Mexican vanilla and then rest the beer on a bed of blueberries to create an exceptionally smooth, slightly sweet beer that we could drink all day long. Though this beer was originally a one-off that they brewed for the Queen City Brewers Festival "super brew" challenge, the brewery's customers loved it so much that they had to keep it on tap (and now in cans!) even after the contest ended.

The Brewery: Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Co.

Located just across from the Concord Regional Airport, the Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Co. taproom was built to be a place where friends and neighbors could gather and relax while enjoying freshly-made local beer. The brewery is kid- and dog-friendly, with games available for all ages. And in addition to brewing beer, they also offer wine, cider, and champagne cocktails (including mimosas and "man-mosas").

If you're hungry, there's a food truck on site daily—plus, you can stop by each week for Food Truck Friday starting at 5 PM, featuring a variety of local food trucks to fulfill any craving you may be having.

The Activities: Yoga, Trivia and Comedy Night (Plus, An Anniversary Party!)
