Here at Work For Your Beer, we're passionate about growing the beer fitness community. No one better embodies the Work For Your Beer community than our brand ambassadors who live it and breathe it.

You're likely to meet them at a Work For Your Beer event, a beer festival, or a brewery fitness class doing what they love.

This group of active beer-lovers are just as excited to grow the beer fitness community as we are!

That's why we're highlighting our brand ambassadors and letting them tell you why they love Work For Your Beer and why you should too.

How did you first find out about Work For Your Beer? I think I Googled "cheap workout classes in Charlotte," or I saw it on Facebook. I can't remember!

What made you want to be a part of the Work For Your Beer community? I love working out and I love Charlotte's craft beer scene. For me, Work For Your Beer is the best of both worlds. After attending classes for a while, I wanted to get involved, meet people and share my love for the community, which is why I applied to become a brand ambassador!

How long have you been attending fitness classes? I started doing serious yoga and regularly attending fitness classes about two years ago. I used to work out only on my own, but I found that I like the community aspect of classes. It makes me push myself harder.

Which brewery fitness classes do you attend? You can regularly find me at Twerk for Your Beer, Bootcamp at Suffolk Punch, Lenny Boy Yoga and Yoga on Tap. (Plus, I love trying other classes throughout the week!)

What motivates you to work out? Beer. Haha, just kidding... But not really. You gotta burn off all those calories! Seriously though, I also love the feeling of accomplishment that comes when you can feel yourself growing stronger. Nothing feels better than when you're able to finally hold that arm balance in yoga, or when you find that you're not sore after a tough bootcamp when you couldn't even walk after your first one.

What’s your go-to pump up song? "Run the World (Girls)" by Beyoncé.

What made you start attending brewery fitness classes? I wanted a way to get out and explore while staying active. I was also looking for a way to attend fitness classes without totally draining my bank account.

What is your favorite kind of brewery fitness class? I love any kind of yoga class, and also dance fitness.

What’s your favorite part of going to brewery fitness classes?  I love the community aspect of it. You're all there to have a good time, sweat it out and enjoy a brew or two. The classes make you work hard, and everyone from beginners to pros can enjoy them and leave with a sense of accomplishment.

Which brewery fitness class has been the most challenging for you? The bootcamp at Suffolk Punch. It's a total-body workout that will kick your butt. At the end of it you definitely feel like you earned your beer.

What’s one thing you would want to tell somebody who was considering attending a brewery fitness class? Just try it! Most of the classes are super cheap and only an hour long, so even if you hate the class, you're only losing like $5 and 60 minutes. And you get to drink a beer at the end, so you really aren't losing anything!

What’s your favorite beer (or ‘booch) in Charlotte? Beer: Legion Juicy Jay. 'Booch: Lenny Boy Strawberry.

Why do you love Work For Your Beer? It's a great way to meet people and try out new fitness classes and breweries!

Anything else you’d like to tell us? Work For Your Beer is my favorite thing about Charlotte!
