We'll Take the Lot: Drinking Every Beer at Blowing Rock Brewing Co.

Welcome to "We'll Take The Lot," a craft beer/comedy series where Work For Your Beer co-founders Alicia and Mel taste every beer on tap at various breweries around the country — and eventually, the world.

In this week's episode...

It just made sense to rock our Work For Your Tatas shirts at female-owned Blowing Rock Brewing Co. just outside of Boone, NC 

We tasted every beer on the tap list here and talked about SO many things, including...

- The hard seltzer brewed here that smells JUST like our go-to middle school body spray from Victoria's Secret

- The fact that "Mel" apparently means honey in Latin, and how that explains the naming of the "Mel Electrum Honey Amber" beer we tried here — which, of course, was one of Mel's favorites on the tap list 

- The time Alicia iced her husband (yes, made him chug a Smirnoff Ice) on the day of their brewery wedding

- The idea that we should totally have a #WorkForYourBeer wedding for the two of us because we're basically married (#workwives) 

- How Untappd should totally buy us... but also, that we're stoked that they list calorie counts with each beer on this tap list 

- And way more, obviously, because we never stop talking! 

Alicia's favorite this time was the Shwarz Bier, a traditional German-style brew like many of the beers on draft here 

And while Mel graciously offered her beloved favorite Mel Electrum Honey Amber to her husband Alan when he arrived at the end of this tasting session, she went with the Midnight Raspberry (a dark wheat ale that threw us for a loop!) as her second favorite on the list
