Food & Beer Pairing: Gose Edition
We know it can be difficult to pair beer with your meals.
This week, we are pairing a Gose with Jerk Shrimp Tacos with Mango Salsa and Avocado Crema!

Jerk Shrimp Tacos with Mango Salsa and Avocado Crema
Paired with Gose
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients
½ cup mango, diced
Juice from half of a lime
½ cup tomato, diced
¼ cup onion, diced
¼ cup orange bell pepper, diced
1 tablespoon jalapeno pepper, diced
¼ cup cilantro, roughly chopped
⅛ teaspoon salt
½ avocado
2 tablespoons nonfat plain Greek yogurt
A pinch of salt
1 teaspoon lime juice
¼ teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon water
8 ounces of shrimp, peeled and deveined (about 16-18 large shrimp)
1 teaspoon jerk seasoning
6 small corn tortillas
1 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
Lime wedges for serving
Directions:
Combine mango, lime juice, tomato, onion, bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, cilantro, and salt in a small bowl.
Combine avocado, Greek yogurt, salt, lime juice, garlic, and water. Blend with an immersion blender, blender, or food processor until smooth.
Season shrimp with jerk seasoning.
Cook shrimp over medium heat in an oiled saute pan until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Warm corn tortillas in a pan on the stove.
Assemble tacos. Serve with fresh lime wedges.
